welcome to shout out Friday just a few announcements before we start without shoutouts report card pick up report card conferences and pick up is November 18th there will be no school for students on Wednesday November 18th due to report card conferences teachers have reached out to families to arrange conference time although report cards are being mailed to families by CPS MTA is also making them available to be picked up at the school report cards will be available for pickup from NTA on Tuesday November 17th 8:30 to 3:30 and 1 November 18th from 8:30 to 3:30 no there will be no teachers in the building at this time please make sure to schedule your individual meetings directly with your child's teacher November 18th is also our alsc non-binding election all family should have received a mail-in ballot from the alsc non-binding election families are also welcome to vote at MTA on November 18th between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. please be sure that you vote or mail in your ballot November 18th Mount of the shoutouts this plan is giving a shout-out to Charles J Charles J has become such an active participant in our daily classes not only does he have the courage to share but his thoughts are so deep and thorough he celebrates others when they have positive thoughts to keep up the weirdest and empathy styles teachers are so proud of you a Johnny was a part of a very powerful discussion on Veterans Day we spontaneously started a class discussion with a parent who is Rivera a Johnny became her sister he not only contributed wonderful thoughts on his grandfather but he asked if he could share his screen and sold our class a military hospital and what it look like Ematic Ajani share his grandfather's flat a marine cat with them profit other students this year different things from their veteran their family veteran relatives I'm so proud of a Johnny and hope he is proud of his leadership on Veterans Day or Veterans Day session would not have been complete without him miss playing States it's also receiving a shout-out from his plan is always an active participant participant in our class discussion she's so bright and contributes her own thoughts and opinions not only does she remain committed to her school work but always give positive kind shout out to our teachers and friends in the meat Shack when we have it on keep up the kindness and commitment at align your teachers are so proud of you it's kibblewhite is giving a shout-out to Matthew e Jada D and Jonathan be for showing perseverance by staying after school to complete our election digital escape room and being all of the challenges way to stick it out salads shout out to the 6th grade scholar Destiny 04 are careful dedication to scholarship and her willingness to always take a risk participate keep it up we are proud of you saddle to the 6th grade Skyler Alpha for his consistent positivity and support shown towards his peers and make a different from its kibblewhite keep it up to six graders markquez in and for keeping the beat fresh keep making music you both have real talent Vista Voorhees is giving a shout-out to sixth grade greater Herschel always advocating for himself and working is a sinus and still he really gets it always using his thinks time to the max he gives a shout out to sixth graders had a late for reaching out to his teacher by establishing a variety of lines of communication so he can get on track and improve grades and Achieve high level of understanding in math measure stomach like give a shout out to Joshua w DeShaun commitment when he used evidence in class A Class discussion about integrity a shout out to Scott M Scout who showed commitment when she volunteered to do an extra read practice to grow her Bryan Arabica see who show commitment when she asked to help in understanding ask for help and understanding a new math strategy miss a is giving a shout-out to Macy see Macy has really done a great job reflecting on her work and always wanting to improve she is always such a positive light with her last night and really is a great Charlie s has been really stepping up his game lately he not only finds his best with all his assignment he puts things in perspective for Miss and his classmates also enjoys his sense of humor Miss Porter's giving a shout-out to Saint who demonstrates commitment daily she works hard in and out of class she's an excellent reader and all very thoughtful Simona demonstrates courage when she Volunteers in class she tries to find out sound out words and reading even when she's unsure her confidence is growing give a shout out to Piper for asking question when she doesn't understand something she is learning to advocate for herself she gives a shout-out to Bryce and for raising his hand a participating more flat and as well give a shout out to Harper C4 for persevering when words names are mr. G give a shout out to Devon es for all of his great participation this week listen to give us a dollar off of that my receipt for pushing through and getting his exit ticket in mr. Buckman gives a shout out to my Sean W for going above and beyond and his daddy and sharing an informational video set alarm for she gives a shout out to my angel see for checking in with classmates masou Gakuen also give a shout out to j2d for asking critical questions and continuing and science discussions this week last name is man was giving a shout-out to they had 100% of tendons today for the virtual field trip to the International Children's Film Festival congratulations to all of the students look forward to seeing you again next week
